From Amazon:

There’s nothing like a surprise reunion with your best friend!

But the bag full of cash she brings along, as well as her husband’s corpse sure put a damper on the celebration.

Now I’m stuck solving a murder for which said bestie’s been accused. I know she’s innocent, but I need to prove it without letting my detective love interest discover my secret.

I see dead people.

In this book, we find our ghost-seeing main character, Chantilly Adair, trying to solve the murder of her best friend’s husband without telling her she can see ghosts—and without getting killed in the process herself.

This one was so short. I feel like the author was just trying to push out a bunch of books really quickly and didn’t take the time to really dive into the mystery. I didn’t realize until typing this up that the first three books in the series were published in 2019.

I give this entry in the series 3 and a half toads.
